January 12th, 2010 At approx. 2130 hours, the North East Fire Department was dispatched to Middle Road, near Dewey Road for a one vehicle MVA. The first ambulance on scene (207) reported smoke showing and heavy damage. Pt. was reported to be a Class 1 (Life Threatening) and LifeStar (Stat MedEvac 17) was ordered to fly to the scene. All four lanes of route 20 were closed down for the landing zone. NEFD 200 had accident command, and Fuller L-5 had landing zone command on route 20.
